Shaughna-Lee Steele “Arise Mighty Warrior” is the Gospel Song for 2017

 

Shaughna- Lee Steele “Arise” as the mighty warrior of the JCDC Gospel song competition 2017, held on Sunday, July 30 at the National Arena: The Jamaica Cultural Development Commission (JCDC), an agency of the Ministry of Culture, Gender, Entertainment and Sport announced the results from the Grand Final of the 30th staging of the Gospel song competition.

Shaughna-Lee hails from Buff Bay, Portland and describes herself as a cheerful individual who enjoys making people happy, engaging in sporting activities and spending time with family and friends. She is an alumni of Titchfield High school and at age 22 years old has completed a B.Sc. Degree in Geography and his currently pursuing an MPhil Degree in Geography at Univerisity of the West Indies Mona. She hopes to continue her gospel ministry, encouraging persons to come to Christ and to walk steadfastly in His way. Her single arise mighty warrior is an appeal for more soldiers to join her on the battlefield for the Lord.
